Cookie Policy
In short
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising tools.
One third-party service is installed but held back: Hostinger Reach, our hosting provider’s sign-up form tool. Its script loads only on a page that contains a Reach sign-up form, and only after you allow External services in the banner. No page on the site contains such a form today, so in practice nothing from a third party loads at all.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page.
1. What we checked, and when
On 8 November 2026 the published pages were opened with browser developer tools, as a visitor who is not signed in, and inspected for cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB and any network request leaving our own domain.
- Before any choice: nothing stored, no request outside our domain.
- After “Accept All”: the only addition is our own record of your choice,
waycup-consent-v2, in local storage.
The same check is repeated before every release that changes the pages. You can repeat it yourself: open the site, press F12, and look under Application → Storage and Network.
2. The full inventory
| Item | Type | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Category | When it is used |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
waycup-consent-v2 |
Local storage, not a cookie | WAYCUP (first party) | Remembers your choice in the banner: whether you allowed External services, the banner and policy version you saw, and when | Until you clear your browser’s site data or change your choice | Strictly necessary | After you make a choice in the banner |
Hostinger Reach script — cdn-reach.hostinger.com/js/embed.js |
Third-party script | Hostinger International Ltd | Displays Hostinger Reach sign-up forms (served from reach-forms.hostingerusercontent.com) and counts how often each form is viewed (reach.hostinger.com) |
— | External services — consent required | Only on a page that contains a Reach sign-up form, and only after you allow External services. No page contains one today |
reach_imp_… |
Local storage | Hostinger Reach script | Stops the same form view from being counted twice within 30 minutes | Until you clear site data; ignored after 30 minutes | External services — consent required | Same as the Reach script. Removed automatically if you withdraw consent |
WordPress sign-in cookies: wordpress_logged_in_…, wordpress_sec_…, wp-settings-… |
First-party cookies | WordPress, on our own domain | Keep a member of our own staff signed in to the site’s administration and remember their screen settings | 2 days, or 14 days with “Remember me”; screen settings 1 year | Strictly necessary | Only for our own staff after signing in. Never set for a visitor |
Why the consent record counts as strictly necessary
Storing the answer to “do you consent?” is exempt from the consent requirement itself — otherwise we would have to ask you on every single page, including after you said no. It stores one short value and no identifier that could follow you anywhere.
3. What is not here, deliberately
- No Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible or any other visitor measurement.
- No Meta Pixel, Google Ads tag, LinkedIn Insight Tag or any other advertising or conversion tracker.
- No embedded Google Map. The contacts section shows the address as text; a map will be added only once the warehouse address is confirmed, and it will be treated as an external service under section 5.
- No YouTube or Vimeo embeds, no live-chat widget, no social media feed.
- No external fonts. The two typefaces are served from our own server, so no request reaches a font provider.
- The pages are delivered through our hosting provider’s content delivery network (Hostinger). It answers on our own domain, sets no cookies and only processes your IP address to deliver the page — see the Privacy Policy.
The WhatsApp button and the Instagram link in the footer are ordinary links. Nothing is sent to WhatsApp or Meta while you read the page. Only if you click does their service open, with their own cookies and their own policies.
4. How the banner works
- Nothing optional loads before you choose. Third-party scripts sit in the page as inert placeholders and are switched on only by your consent.
- Refusing is exactly as easy as accepting. “Accept All” and “Essential Only” sit side by side, in the same size and the same weight, on the first screen of the banner.
- No pre-ticked boxes. Under Customize there are two lines: Essential (on and locked, because it only stores your choice) and External services (off until you switch it on).
- Withdrawing is exactly as easy as consenting. Cookie Settings is at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw, the page reloads without the third-party script and anything it wrote to local storage is deleted.
- Where your choice is recorded. In your own browser only, together with the banner version, the policy version and the time of your choice. We do not keep a copy on our server. If we change the banner, you will be asked again.
5. Before we add anything new
Before any analytics tool, map, video, pixel or chat widget goes live on this site:
- It is added to the table in section 2 — with its name, who sets it, what it is for, how long it lasts and who receives the data.
- It is blocked until you consent, in the same way as the Hostinger Reach script.
- This page is republished with a new version number and date, and the banner asks everyone again.
6. Clearing what is on your device
In Chrome and Edge open Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data and permissions; in Firefox Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data; in Safari Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data. Browsers also offer a global “block all cookies” setting; this site works normally with it switched on.
7. How this relates to our other documents
- This page covers what is stored on your device and what third-party content can load — the ePrivacy side.
- What we do with personal data afterwards, your rights over it, and who receives it is in the Privacy Policy.
- The commercial relationship — orders, artwork, prices, delivery — is in the Terms of Cooperation.
8. Changes to this policy
This is version 1.0, in force from 8 November 2026.
It is reviewed whenever a script, embed or third-party tool is added to the site, and in any case once a year. Earlier versions are available on request from waycup.sk@gmail.com.
